Finishing & Assembly
The integration of finishing, assembly and testing operations with our production machining operations provides you with a supplier in which you can have confidence that each step in the manufacture of your products is engineered and controller uniformly to yield consistent, reliable results.
We are qualified Class 1 "A" for MIL-SPEC painting, including CARC, epoxy, enamel, urethane, vinyl and water base applications. Finishes include gloss, flat, smooth and textured and may be multi-colored. Complex masking, cosmetic filling and surface preparations are performed as specified.
Chemical film (Chromate) certified to MIL-C-5541 if performed in-house under carefully controlled conditions to insure dimensional integrity of the finished part and to provide a receptive surface for painting.
Part Marking is accomplished by silk screen, rubber stamping and other approved processes in strict accordance with specifications.
Assembly operations include installation of all varieties of threaded inserts, riveting of card guides and mounting of handles, latches, brackets, pads, bushings and pins. Efficient, reliable methods and proper fixturing insure compliance with all requirements.
Leak detection procedures, Dye Penetrant inspection and Impregnation per MIL-I-276 a, b, c is available in-house to verify and enhance the integrity of critical material. Certified and well-trained personnel perform these important tests with unqualified integrity.
